Janine Burnham Ruth is a Neuroeducational Consultant and Neurodevelopmental Therapist, certified through the National Association for Child Development (NACD). She was personally trained by Bob Doman, President, Founder and CEO of NACD. She received her MA in Educational Theater/Drama Therapy from the New York University and her BA in Psychology and Theatre from Roanoke College, VA. Janine is also trained in Read-Spell-Comprehend™.
Along with her training in education and development, Janine utilizes her theatrical expertise to capture the attention of people, especially children, to identify issues. As the Assistant Director at The Davis Center, Janine brings with her a full range of experience associated with human interaction:
- Speaker and Lecturer on topics from neuroeducational development to nutrition and behavior.
- Radio Show Host (producer and engineer) for Curious About Kids, which is a weekly show on WDVR, 89.7 or 91.9 FM, broadcasting out of Hunterdon County, New Jersey, that she developed.
- Owner and private instructor for several businesses including Drama for Life and Plaster Fun-Plus!
- Adjunct Professor at Caldwell College teaching Using Brain-Compatible Methods in the Classroom and Disability Awareness.
With Janine's wide reaching background and knowledge, she has an uncanny ability to quickly pick up on neurologically related behaviors that are missed by other specialists. More specifically, Janine has dedicated her life to the advocacy of children and their overall health and well-being.
