Interactive Metronome®

Picture
Who Is It For? Interactive Metronome® is for anyone seeking to improve their focus, attention span, organization or rhythmic skills.

What Is It? Interactive Metronome® is a new educational technology that stimulates neural timing and enhances the planning and sequencing skills important to attention and learning. By exercising fundamental control over the mental functions and limbs, the program builds the ability to concentrate and focus in a consistent manner and promotes balance throughout the body.

When Is It Used? The DETP® is the starting point for determining which sound-based therapy is appropriate. Interactive Metronome is recommended when need is demonstrated by the DETP® or when needed to complement established developmental and foundational skills.

Why Might I Use It? Interactive Metronome® is used to strengthen one’s attention span, focus, organizational skills, social interactions, reading skills, rhythmic/music skills, language comprehension, and enhance expressive language skills.

Where Is It Offered? When Interactive Metronome® is recommended with the DETP®, we will provide the names of practitioners to contact.
