Who Is It For? Samonas™ is for anyone interested in improving listening skills and
vestibular stability.

What Is It? Samonas™ is a therapeutic listening format developed by sound engineer
Ingo Steinbach. This SAMONAS™ ( Spectrally Activated Music of Optimal Natural Structure)
Method combines the movement of the muscles in the ear and use of controlled, filtered
sound to the brain to heighten listening skills and associated auditory processing.

When Is It Used? The DETP® is the starting point for determining which sound-based
therapy is appropriate. Samonas is recommended when need is demonstrated by the
DETP® or when other developmental and foundational skills are established.

Why Might I Use It? Samonas™ is recommended to improve perception of sound, to
enhance effective listening skills, to support vestibular skills, and to assist in integration
of auditory function between the ear and brain.

Where Is It Offered? Samonas™ is utilized in the comfort of your home or with your
therapist. CD’s are chosen by The Davis Center staff that most appropriately support the
individual’s functioning.
