About AD/HD: AD/HD is a constellation of context-dependent behaviors that are most prevalent in very constrictive environments. The terms AD and ADHD were recently combined into AD/HD because it includes both the inattention component and the hyperactivity-impulsive component. The four primary symptoms are: 1) Temporal processing deficits, 2) Disinhibition (impulsivity and reward aversion, 3) Working memory deficits, and 4) Hyperactivity. Therapies Offered: AIT, Tomatis®, Fast ForWord™, Interactive Metronome™, BioAcoustics™, and home programs. Therapies are only suggested after completing the Diagnostic Evaluation for Therapy Protocol (DETP®) which determines if any sound-based therapy is appropriate and when it is, in the correct order. We utilize The Davis Model of Sound Intervention®. Contact The Davis Center at 862-251-4637, 9:30 am to 5:30 pm, Monday through Friday, Eastern Standard Time to schedule an evaluation.
