Establishing Sound Beginnings  Beginning February of 2008 The Davis Center is proud to offer Tomatis Listening Therapy as a relaxation technique to first time mothers.  The goal of the listening is to reduce anxiety, and to promote connectivity between mother and child before birth.  Mothers should be in their 7th month of pregnancy when they start the listening. The Davis Center's unique Diagnostic Evaluation for Therapy Protocol (DETP) identifies core issues in the areas of hearing, speech, learning, language, and overall well-being for people of all ages. We offer remedial and / or enhancement therapies that address challenges related to Autism, ADD, ADHD, APD, Apraxia, Dyslexia, Hyperlexia, Downs Syndrome, Williams Syndrome, learning disabilities, central auditory processing (CAPD), other minor learning / attention / focus related skills, and health and wellness issues. According to the Davis Center Philosophy, a variety of Sound Based Therapies are used in a developmental hierarchy to address these challenges.

The Founder and Director, Dorinne S. Davis MA, CCC-A, FAAA, whose 30+ years experience as an Educational and Rehabilitative Audiologist provides the foundation for the center's distinctive focus and evaluative capabilities.
